For contractors / Pre-excavation

Know what’s above the boom before you set up.

A pre-dig record of the site: what’s overhead, what’s on the ground, and where the truck can stand. Captured from the air before the crew arrives, delivered in the projection your locator and the utility already use.

What it is for

Overhead context

The visible overhead lines and structures near the dig, marked up in the same language as the utility’s limits-of-approach rules.

Ground and access

Surface condition, obstructions and where the truck and boom can stand, measured from the orthomosaic.

Record before you break ground

A dated, georeferenced record of the site as found, in the projection your locator and the utility already use.

What we need

The site address or coordinates, the planned dig footprint, and when the crew is due. If the utility has limits-of-approach rules for the site, send them so the markup uses the same language.

Where this stops

This is a visual and measured record of what the camera can see; it does not replace the utility’s locate, the limits-of-approach process, or the hydrovac operator’s own look-up before the boom moves.

Send the site and the dig date. We’ll say what we can fly and what you’ll receive.
